A Planning Commission to administer the details of the application of the regulations, restrictions, and limitations provided by the zoning plan herein adopted, is hereby created.

All property within the Village of Riverlea is zoned Single-Family Residence, per Section 151.020 of the Village of Riverlea Zoning Code.
District Boundaries. There is hereby established an Architectural District which shall include all lots within the area of the corporate boundaries of the Village of Riverlea, as established from time to time.
How Does a person get permission to build, alter or add-on to their home?
Persons considering additions or alterations should contact the Village Clerk/Treasurer. All plans must be reviewed and approved by the Planning Commissioner and the Planning Commission prior to building permit application. The Building and Planning Commission meets monthly, usually the second Monday of the month, pending the need to meet. They do not do building inspection, only architectural review and zoning compliance.
